FundsforWriters reaches people with a passion for writing and lets writers know about your product or service through online or newsletter exposure. Since FFW limits its ads to writing-related services, you do not see those get-rich-quick schemes or anyone’s novel or poetry chapbook for sale. We are here to help writers earn a living and be better at their craft. Our newsletter open rates are as good as it gets in the writing world, with a rate averaging 30 percent.

“FundsforWriters ads have brought me hundreds of newsletter subscribers, new students, and at least $10,000 to my business in the last few months. Hope’s subscribers are lovely and these ads played a huge role in doubling my audience.” ~Amber Petty, https://amber-petty.newzenler.com/

The ad looked fantastic and was laid out just as we wanted. We could not have asked for more! You can be sure we will be advertising again!”  ~Jeannie Mark and Leigh Shulman, Creative Revolution Retreat

“I always turn to C. Hope Clark’s Funds for Writers newsletter to advertise my online writing courses. I recently ran one sponsor ad in one issue, and because I’ve come to know what to expect from the devoted FFW readers, I had a blast watching course enrollments come in – within two days I had 94 new people enrolled in the course, and 299 people signed up for my e-mail list! Wow!”
~ Joan Dempsey,Writer and Teacher, www.joandempsey.com

“Because I respect both Hope’s writing skills and business acumen, I checked out Shaila Abdullah at www.myhouseofdesign.com. Her ads in FundsforWriters were enticing, and I took advantage of the discount offer to FFW readers. When my new website went live, I did a happy dance. Does my experience make me eligible to join the Shaila Abdullah Fan Club?”
~ Elaine Thomas  www.elainethomaswriter.com

~Nicky LaMarco, instructor of Get Paid to Write: Become a Freelancer and blogger at Freelance Writing 4 Beginners.

“When I started my book editing business, I had a tiny budget and wanted to be certain I chose the correct host for my ads. As luck would have it, around that same time I was introduced to FundsforWriters through a friend. After reading the newsletter, I realized that FFW must attract serious professionals — and I was correct! My first advertisement drew responses immediately, and I’m happy to report that some of my favorite client projects have derived from FFW ads. Thank you, Hope! ” ~ Katherine Don  The Book Don

“Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained! Placing an ad in FundsforWriters is easy and affordable. And if your experience is anything like mine, response to your ad will be almost immediate, proof positive that FFW readers pay attention! Anyone with a product or service they believe fellow writers should know about, should definitely give FFW a try.” ~ Cathy Swormstedt, The James River Writing Company

“Advertising in your newsletter was a huge success. Not only did it increase traffic in the short term, but our numbers have been increasing steadily on average since the advertisement was posted. And your readers were just the audience we were looking for! We are a relatively new website, and were excited to see our number of subscribers almost double over the weekend. Because of the increased traffic we received, we are now re-vamping the website in order to make it easier to respond to comments and suggestions. It is extremely rewarding to see people enjoying our blog and interacting.” ~Amy Biddle  www.undergroundbookreviews.com

“I wanted to get my conference off to a strong start, so I slated Hope at the top of the conference schedule with her “Funding Streams for Your Writing Career” as an early-arrival seminar. Over half of my attendees for our weekend conference showed up early to hear her, and they couldn’t wait for the rest of the conference! Writers left her seminar well-educated, energized and optimistic about their writing careers, whether they were just starting out or seasoned pros. Hope also held a breakout for children’s writers and a three-hour small-group workshop on just grants. Writers were hooked on her information. Having Hope as a speaker also boosted our attendance for what had historically been a small, state-wide conference. Once Hope was on the schedule and let her followers know her plans to attend, writers started inquiring. We ended up with writers from 15 states and the largest conference in our 96-year history.”  ~Deborah Marshall, President Missouri Writers Guild

“I wanted to let you know how valuable your newsletter is, not just for writers but for service providers too. As a web and graphic designer, I have received several design contracts from numerous writers and authors to create websites, email newsletters, book covers and interiors, and marketing materials. In just a year and a half, my business has grown considerably through working with your newsletter’s audience and I am grateful to you for providing such a great portal for service providers.  I have benefited from your newsletter as an author too. I joined FundsforWriters when my two books––Beyond the Cayenne Wall and Saffron Dreams, came out. The valuable insights and tips in your newsletter helped me not only in promoting my books but also in winning several awards and grants. Thanks for the amazing service you provide.”  ~Shaila Abdullah, www.myhouseofdesign.com

  • - Caroline Sposto, Emerald Theatre Company

Thanks to the publicity from your newsletter, our little Memphis, Tennessee event received scripts from Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, the UK and New Zealand. This wealth of wonderful material yielded quality vignettes that made the best local actors and stage directors (including a popular local radio personality) eager to donate their time and talent. Their presence, in turn, sold tickets. We played to packed houses and everyone had a great time. The bottom line is, without you, we would have had something rinky dink -- with you we had something substantial. The publicity you provided on the front end made all the difference in the world!

  • -Laura Kepner, Safety Harbor Writers and Poets

Hope gave the keynote workshop at the Safety Harbor Writers Conference: Solving the Mystery of Writing, in Clearwater, Florida. Hope could have left after her keynote address, but instead, she stayed throughout the day and made a point to talk to individual writers one-on-one. At the end of the day, Hope participated in a panel and stayed for a Q&A. She left such a good impression on so many that I believe my conference would have been a success had she been my only presenter.

  • – With deep appreciation, Laura Lee Perkins

I am sitting in a ferry terminal, waiting for the next boat to take me to the Turkeyland Cove Foundation Writer’s Retreat on Martha’s Vineyard Island. Am I excited? You bet I am! Why? Because this is the first time in my life that I have been offered the gift of time and space for an entire two weeks to focus on what I love to do most: WRITE! I was accepted months ago and “anticipation” has been my middle name.
The timeliness of this couldn’t be more perfect. Maine Authors Publishing just released my collection of twenty-two inspirational essays a few days ago! “Lighting Your Spiritual Passion” One of those essays was chosen for 3rd place in the Writers’ Digest Contest Inspirational category a couple of years ago, spurring me on to publish a collection of essays. When I opened the AMAZON page for my newest book, I cried with relief and joy.

The common thread here is you, Hope Clark, and your FundsforWriters. You inspire me to have more courage, to reach higher, and you offer me threads of hope that I, too, can continue to grow and contribute something of worth to the world. Do you have ANY idea how much you mean to all of us who sit at our computers on Friday afternoon, waiting for your email to come in? I cut and paste every opportunity into a computer document that remains “open” on my desktop so that I can refer back to it any time I feel discouraged. Thank you for your dedication to sharing the roller-coaster ride of writing. You are a gifted teacher and mentor.

Total Funds for Writers pays for itself almost immediately. Hope and her research skills are phenomenal. Thanks to TFFW I have sold four articles, all with clients who did this amazing thing called paying me. It’s quite delightful – money is querky but boy its fun stuff to have! If you haven’t signed up for TFFW, you’re just not serious about your career.
